Dr. Paul Magro

Dr Paul Magro is a financial services professional with 20+ years of experience across the industry. He earned a PhD in Finance from Bangor University in 2013 and co-founded RiskCap the same year. As Managing Director from launch, he led the firm through multiple phases of growth, culminating in its acquisition by AKJ. Following the transaction, he joined the board of AKJ FMG Limited, where he also currently serves as Acting CEO.

Dr Magro has served on the boards of several financial services firms and has acted as risk manager and compliance officer. He also leads project engagements to design and implement governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) frameworks.
